Garden furniture is an investment, so it is important to protect it. Make sure to choose a breathable cover as this will allow air to flow underneath and prevent a buildup of mould and mildew.

If you use a furniture cover in winter, keep an eye out for standing water. This means that when water pools on the cover, it can become heavy enough to damage the cover. You could raise the cover where the water pools, using plant pots or other garden items. We will always recommend a cover, but a bad cover can cause more harm than no cover at all.
